We would like to use 20% of the produce grown will be used in teaching demonstrations on cooking healthy meals, 50% of the produce grown will be given away to underserved families so they are able to have fresh fruits/vegetables, and 30% of the crops grown will be sold to help sustain the nonprofits outreach/education programs. Our goal is to offer those in need with healthy food while empowering people to engage with their lives and find fulfillment through meaningful environmentally sustainable work that reduces pollution.
Food Share
We will have an application for members of the community who need assistance with having a supply of fresh fruits and vegetables. Individuals will be selected on a first come first serve basis. Food will be delivered to the address on the application designed to provide up to two weeks of healthy meals. Individuals may request assistance once per growing season or no more than three times per year. We hope to provide food to approximately 20 to 50 families per growing season.
