Return to Nature Farm, Inc was established in October 2019. The establishment of our farm aims to take part in pollution-free and fertilizer-free green agriculture development, offering the neighborhood with healthy food, cooperating with the community by sharing and putting agricultural technology into practice, and maintaining sustainable development of ecology by protecting the soil, environment and ecology. It is also our goal to offer young people who need support technical training courses and create employment opportunities for them. We’d love to work with other non-profit organizations, companies, public institutions, schools and individuals to achieve our goal.
Return to Nature Farm, Inc.’s mission is to educate underserved communities on the importance of pollution-free, fertilizer-free, organic agriculture techniques to develop sustainable fruits, vegetables, and herbs that are critical to a balanced diet. We are in process of locating the ideal 40-acre property site with a three bedroom two bathroom structure to serve as our education center and arable land to conduct our practical farm courses that teach sustainable development of ecology designed to protect the soil, environment, and ecology.
Our education program is targeted to low-income families that wish to learn climate-smart agriculture practices to grow their own food at home. We define low-income families as those who earn no more than 200% above poverty level based on their household size. We would like to use 20% of the produce grown will be used in teaching demonstrations on cooking healthy meals, 50% of the produce grown will be given away to underserved families so they are able to have fresh fruits/vegetables, and 30% of the crops grown will be sold to help sustain the nonprofits outreach/education programs.
